Senior PHP Web Architect/Developer Required in Pretoria Details: Location: Pretoria Availability: ASAP Type: Permanent Offer: R500k – R600k p/a Nationality Job open to South African citizens only Languages Afrikaans/English fully bilingual Introduction: MyRoof.co.za is looking for an experienced web design/developer to join the MyRoof.co.za elite developer team. MyRoof develops websites and in-house systems used by South Africa's major banks in the property and vehicle markets. MyRoof.co.za is based in Pretoria east and has 30 full time employees. We are an exciting small and fast growing company with young dynamic people. Relaxed office environment with Squash Court, pool table etc. for staff relaxation Requirements: A passion for building cutting edge websites. Ability to design user friendly interfaces. Previous experience with working on large web projects. Attention to detail. At least 10 years relevant website design/development experience with a solid understanding of: 1. PHP (Expert – non-negotiable) 2. Database Design (Expert – non-negotiable) 3. SQL (Expert – non-negotiable) 4. Javascript (jQuery,JSON and AJAX) 5. VB.net (bonus) 6. Classic asp (bonus) More Info: This exciting role will involve the following: • Complete redesign of current MyRoof.co.za website. Developing new application which ties into current systems. • This is a fast paced development environment with loads of opportunity and many interesting challenges. • Enhance and fix current applications. • Develop and update websites using the languages and tools mentioned above Include projects you've worked on as well as your responsibilities for each project.
