HR Manager Location: Randburg BEE Status: Open Job Type: Human Resources manage Job Title: HR Manager Availability: As soon as possible Salary: R 420 000 – R 240 000 Min Requirements: Related Degree 2 years management experience 5 years related experience in the HR environment. Advert Description: A leading company in the Retail environment is looking for a qualified and experienced HR Manager to join their dynamic team. The need someone with a similar qualification to degree level. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of management experience as well as a total of 5 years experience in the human resourced environment. Some of the duties will include but not limited to: • Ensuring compliance with Labour Legislation and other relevant legislation • Effective management of disciplinary processes • Adding value to disciplinary procedures • Proactive coaching of management on good employment practices and related labour laws • Identification of equity barriers and working with Management to close gaps • Submission of Employment Equity Report • Preparation and implementation of Employment Equity Plan • Quarterly Employment Equity Committee meetings • Advertising of vacancies i.e. internal and external • Interviewing candidates • Drafting of appointment letters and employment contracts • Drafting of policies and procedures • Communicate reviewed policies and implementation thereof • Ensuring compliance with legislation • Ensuring committee members are trained this includes yearly updates • Identifying training needs • Induction and Disciplinary and Grievance training • Submission of Skills Development report • Drafting correspondence and other dealings with the Union • Maintaining a god relationship between Management and the Union • Administration of medical aid • Administration of provident fund • Administration of cell phones • Compiling of job profiles for employees • Implement and monitor the performance management processes designed • Control and improve service delivery of frontline reception, switchboard and tea/cleaning team • Monitoring groceries, milk purchases, stationery orders etc • Long Service Awards • Preparation of accurate and informative reports for Management • Correspondence with charities/organizations SKILLS • Computer literacy • Communication skills • Interpersonal skills ATTRIBUTES • Initiating action: Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives • Managing work (includes time management) and resources • Planning and organising: Establishing courses of action • Stress tolerance: Maintaining stable performance To apply for the position, please forward your CV We appreciate your interest in this vacancy.
