Job Objective: To manage the overall daily operation of the cinema complex in the absence of the manager, supervise and give the staff direction: thereby ensure that the customer’s expectations are met or exceeded. Must be able to interact with both staff and customers, understand, monitor, manage and supervise the Catering and Box Office Cashiers as per performance standards. Manage and control cash, oversee the presentation of films and quickly become familiar with the Cinema Complex systems and procedures. Roles and Responsibilities: Plan daily/weekly/monthly activities for the Complex Implement & co-ordinate duties with others Organise resources to meet financial objectives Supervise & provide direction to others Through motivation encourage faster rate of work by staff people and thus gain willing co-operation Qualifications/Experience: Grade 12 Post Matric studies in management, business, sales or related field At least 2 years experience in a related field (Retail, Stores or Hospitality) Previous experience in Supervising of staff and Cashiers Previous Cashier / Front Line Client Service Must be willing to work Cinema hours (Shift Work Applies) Have a clear Credit and Criminal Record Be Well Spoken Reliable / Own transport Competencies: Good interpersonal skills (build & maintain relationships, cross cultural awareness) & problem solving Cash transaction, administration and good computer skills Good verbal and written communication skills Management, supervisory ,leadership & motivational skills Strong business awareness & customer service orientated Technical and analytical If you feel YOU are the right person for this excellent position, then Make Your Move and apply now!
