Sales Representative (External) Generate Sales of FMCG products to mainly Independent Restaurants to meet agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets Identify opportunities to promote additional existing products to customers To continuously assess and evaluate customer needs and opportunities for the marketing and or development of new products Build & maintain professional internal and external relationships Planning and forecasting customer requirements per product Sales Administration & attending regular sales meetings Responsible for developing existing and sourcing and developing new client relationships and referrals through telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on restaurant owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking Regular Client visits as per agreed cycles Contact Reports to be completed and filed per client visit Ensure that all sales are recorded and signed on System Keep clientele informed of delivery date changes Strong negotiation skills Strong verbal communication skills Persuasive and influencing skills Corporate (well groomed) image Positive attitude and solid work ethic Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity Reliability and accountability Ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to be pro-active and show initiative Ability to work in a structured, disciplined, corporate environment  The incumbent must be willing to work in December to mid January, as this is company’s peak season  The incumbent must have a minimum of a Grade 12  1 – 3 years sales experience in a similar field (NO INTERNAL SALESPEOPLE WILL BE CONSIDERED)  Excellent knowledge on dairy products  Excel, Word, Outlook  A CTC Package of R15k / Month + a Petrol Card is in offer
