PERSONAL ASSISTANT Responsibilities: screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate; meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority; organising and maintaining diary and making appointments; dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager; taking minutes; producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations; organising and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well-prepared for meetings; liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff; devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc.; arranging travel and accommodation Work experience Minimum of two years' relevant experience, In addition to relevant experience and secretarial knowledge, candidates will need to show evidence of the following: excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent word processing skills, including knowledge of a range of office software packages; honesty and reliability; excellent organisational skills; an understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion. |
