Online Marketing Researcher An established media company based in Durban is looking for an experienced market researcher to join the marketing team. The successful applicant would need: • Widespread e-commerce knowledge • Knowledge and understanding of above-the-line and below-the-line media • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to network • Advanced knowledge on MS Excel reporting and PowerPoint presentations • Understanding of marketing processes, trends and application of competitor information • Minimum two year work experience a must! Minimum Qualification: • Marketing Degree or equivalent. Personal Skills/Attributes • Ability to multi-task and work, unsupervised, to tight deadlines • Diligent with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail • Must be able to take initiative and embrace change • Must adapt well to a team environment Responsibilities • Conduct research to determine future trends in the local and international market • Conduct research to keep abreast of local and international industry trends • Produce presentations of local and international industry trends • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data • Promotion conceptualisation and implementation Please apply with a detailed cover letter and CV.
