FMCG Sales Representative The position for a FMCG Sales Representative is available for a suitable candidate that can operate and “own the role” by working from their own home environment to represent our client’s Head Office based in the Western Cape. The main focus of this position will entail representation of our client to a diverse and an extensive market of prospective clients within the hospitality, food processing, fishing and automotive industries, in the Gauteng Region. Our client specialises in a wide range of top quality imported products. The highest level of customer service and commitment in providing sufficient stock levels is what sets them apart from their competitors within the South African and Global markets. If you are confident within your sales ability to achieve consistent and profitable results we would suggest that you have a closer look at the requirements and KPAs of this position. Minimum requirements: Matric /Equivalent senior certificate Work from own home environment Own reliable Transport Valid Driver’s License Fully Computer Literate Presentable, Professional and Well Spoken Be sales orientated, self motivated and driven Able to interact and communicate on all levels Have previous proven EXTERNAL sales experience Previous experience in supplying services to or sales within the food processing industry will be advantageous Preference will be given to people with a working understanding of Food Safety Systems Must be able to present on all levels of designation and decision making level Have good physical health as the position requires a fair amount of physicality Must be “hands on” in overall approach, disciplined and accountable Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Prospect and develop a pipeline through canvassing and networking to optimise consistent, creative and exciting new business opportunities Visit challenging food production facilities Be handy and be able to install equipment Compile own proposals and presentation thereof Establish friendly relationships with clients and colleagues Maintain an existing client base to ensure continuous influx of new orders and strong current and future client relationships Drive a creative and strategic game plan to ensure increase of orders and new sales Manage all internal administrative processes and the in house sales system to ensure all round update of sales progress Work toward monthly/quarterly and annual targets Communicate consistent updates and sales productivity status through to Head Office Report directly to the Managing Director Our client in return will offer the successful candidate: Monthly CTC of R11 500 CTC inclusive of Fuel, Cell and Laptop with 3G allowance(negotiable depending previous proven sales experience) Over and above aggressive OTE commission structure Adhoc monthly/quarterly/annual incentives Permanent career opportunity with long term growth depending consistent and committed result |
