Sales Consultant Cape Town (Insurance) The Sales Consultant will be responsible for the following functions: 1.1. To market the FedGroup Financial Products and Services to Financial Planners and other Intermediaries, including the following: 1.1.1. Pension Trusts 1.1.2. PartBonds 1.1.3. Group Life 1.2. To take responsibility for: 1.2.1. Obtaining and exceeding business targets 1.2.2. Identifying, developing and managing a portfolio of supporting Financial Planners 1.2.3. Continually developing and maintaining industry knowledge and skills 1.2.4. Internal admin: 1.2.4.1. Attending weekly meetings 1.2.4.2. Managing mileage expenditure 1.2.4.3. Managing cell phone expenditure 1.2.4.4. Performing ongoing administration services (internally and externally) 1.2.5. Building strong business relationships (internally and externally) 1.2.6. Managing business quality and inflow 1.2.7. Achieving new sales objectives for all products 1.2.8. Reporting to his or her line manager on a monthly basis 2. COMPETENCIES 2.1. RFP1, RFP2 and RFP3 or Relevant NQF5, NQF6 qualification or CFP 2.2. Planning 2.3. Sales skills 2.4. Presentation skills 2.5. Attention to detail 2.6. Self motivation 2.7. Self discipline 2.8. Team player 2.9. Knowledge of the industry 2.10. Knowledge of Financial Planners 4.1. Basic salary : R96,000 per annum 4.2. Commission : 0.40% of new PartBond, Group Life and Beneficiary Trusts or Funds business (minimum R6,000 commission during first 6 months) 4.3. Petrol card : Limit R2,500 per month 4.4. Cell phone allowance : R500 per month
