SPSS South Africa Technical Consultant SPSS-South Africa specialises in advanced analytical software and requires a technical assistant to: - Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all software sold by SPSS - Maintain good general knowledge of operating systems and architectures as applies to SPSS software - Provide telephonic end user support for software installation and licensing - Provide telephonic/on site support for SPSS software (troubleshooting) - Provide product advice to sales staff - Provide advice on system integration/interoperability for larger installations. Candidate requires a minimum of a National Diploma qualification in Information Systems. Relevant working experience will be an advantage, Good working knowledge of Java/C/Python (need not be expert),Understanding of ODBC technology and RDBMS management systems, Some experience with SQL, Proven analytical ability, Strong numerical skills,Willing to learn, Candidate must be willing to travel both nationally and internationally and MUST have own transport.
