Shift Supervisor Our client in Paarl is looking for a Shift Supervisor. The ideale candidate must have matric with at least 2 years hands on experience and a proven track record in a production or manufacturing environment. Tertiary education in flexible printing, laminating, extrusion and slitting will be advantageous. Computer literate: MS Office. Production Supervise production process in accordance with line up, targets and within factory procedures. Ensure relevant materials are available before the shift. Execution of shift schedule to include: work station assignments, employee breaks and arranging back-up for absent employees Responsible to meet shift production goals and targets. Responsible for on line quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications. Facilitate invocoms Identify and address health and safety risks Communicate risks/challenges timeously with Production and Unit managers. Ensure working areas are clean and tidy at all times. Complete shift paper work and ensure that production admin is accurate. HR Ensure absenteeism trends are monitored and relevant staff are addressed accordingly QUALITY Identify and assist with quality investigations and root cause analysis HEALTH AND SAFETY Ensures all relevant risks relevant to Health and Safety have been identified and closed out.
