Web Designer/Developer - Experience with creating complex layouts using CSS and semantic XHTML (must be able to hand-code) - Experience producing and for content management systems, namely Joomla and Wordpress - Web-specific Photoshop experience - A strong knowledge of current web trends and resources - A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to WAI standards - A working knowledge of PHP and MySQL - The ability to produce fast loading, bug free sites - A Good understanding of JavaScript / AJAX, including experience jQuery - Excellent attention to detail Requirements: •Advanced understanding of web design and best practices, including usability, user-centered design, information architecture, and interface/navigation design. •Technical proficiency and a substantive knowledge of PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, Joomla! CSS and XHTML. •Skills in ASP .NET & Flash/ Flex / AS2, AS3 are a PLUS •Strong Portfolio with broad industry experience required •Must possess a positive attitude and a positive outlook
