Our Expertise We understand that hiring the best person is critical to the success of your business. All members have spent over 25 years collectively in their respective industries: Marketing, Communications, Media and Retail. Roisin Lerato McCarthy Roisin holds an Associates Degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. USA and a One-year Graphic Design diploma from Concepts Interactive, Cape Town, SA. She has had over 15 years experience in the retail and media industries respectively. She is the founder and director of Sparkplugs. Rika Gruss Rika holds a BA (Psychology) degree from the University of Pretoria, completed some Marketing studies through the IMM and is a qualified business and life coach (University of Johannesburg). She has more than 10 years experience in Marketing and Communications and has been doing local and international recruitment for 8 of those 10 years. She is a recruitment consultant for Sparkplugs. Pat Dambe Pat was educated in Botswana, USA and Canada, her career has lead through De Beers/Anglo American, Price Waterhouse, Draft FCB South Africa, Coca-Cola and Thebe Investments, where she led the bid for one of the first black commercial radio licenses in South Africa. She has played a strategic role in positioning blue-chip companies within the emerging business environment in South Africa and selected African countries. She is the non executive chairperson of Sparkplugs. Johnny Ohgrøn Hansen Johnny was born in Denmark where he got his MSc (Economics) and Certificate of Business Administration. He has more than 12 years international experience in business development as a strategy consultant for the World Bank, business associations in South Africa and private corporates mainly in emerging markets.
