Auto Mechanic The main responsibility of an auto mechanic is repair problems that are present in the vehicles. He receives service calls from customers whose cars have broken down in the middle of the road. He has to take the service truck and go to the location where the customer's car has halted. He is supposed to first discuss with the customer regarding the problem, examine and determine the actual cause, and try to fix the problem then and there itself. If the problem is a major one and cannot be repaired on the spot, he has to bring the truck with the customer's vehicle toed behind it to the garag
