| Regional Fraud Investigator The above mentioned position is currently based at the GRM Forensic Services department at our Corporate Governance division at our Port Elizabeth office, reporting to the Head: Forensic Investigations Responsibilities •Full investigation of fraud and/or theft related acts which are committed against the company or any of its subsidiaries •Proposing disciplinary or any other appropriate intervention •Logging a criminal charge at the SAPS, together with full supporting evidence •Presenting evidence in court on behalf of the company or any of its subsidiaries as well as disciplinary hearings •Presenting fraud awareness programmes to the company employees •Exposing breakdowns, weaknesses in controls that pose risk to the company or any of its subsidiaries •Establishing and maintaining good relations with government agencies e.g. criminal justice systems etc •Preparing monthly progress on reported cases •Recording of case data on local fraud data base Requirements: •A matric or Grade 12 or NQF equivalent qualification •An appropriate tertiary qualification, i.e. diploma in police or a legal qualification •Fluent in English and one other African language •At least 5 years in the commercial crime unit of the SAPS or as a prosecutor in commercial crime cases •Knowledge and understanding of disciplinary and IR procedures •Successful track record of fraud investigations and/or convictions •Willingness to travel •Willingness to work irregular hours •Initiative •Own vehicle •Valid driver’s license •Experience in Financial Services will be an advantage |
