Senior Process Engineer R 350-550k Neg A position for a Senior Process Engineer has become available for the our clients Projects. The successful candidate manage process engineering and discipline project design activities relating to concept (OME), pre-feasibility (PFS), bankable feasibility (BFS), EPCM and Turnkey Process projects undertaken by our clients Projects and act as the contractual manager of all Process contracts on site. Key responsibilities: Liaise and co-ordinate with the client, project manager and engineers of other disciplines to ensure adherence to project and client requirements and specifications Manage the schedule (time), cost, quality and scope on all Process contracts on the project Manage the Process Site Supervisors Effectively utilize company process resources Accurately mark up designs for drafting personnel Ensure Quality standards adhered to by checking accuracy of work before it gets issued Advise, monitor and control all Process site staff and contractors on behalf of the Site Project Manager Assure the client and project manager that the design, erection, testing and commissioning of a Process installation, under his/her charge, complies with all safety and statutory requirements Act within the framework of Process contracts under his/her management Manage high level of risks within project in regard to engineering processes, systems, equipment and infrastructure Manage internal design and Engineering resources via Process Section Leaders Manage the Process design team to ensure that Process designs are carried out in accordance with client standards and specification documentation, industry norms and the relevant legislation Ensure the effective review and approval of Process design and engineering Develop improved work practices and ensure familiarity with new process technologies Undertake techno-economic investigations Provide process inputs for process feasibility studies Act for departmental manager as required Minimum requirements: BSc Eng (Chemical or Metallurgical) Professional registration or eligibility Computer Literacy Safety knowledge 10 years overall experience - 5 of which is in a design environment and the remainder in operations. Good understanding of process methods and project management Experience in Mineral processing and / or hydrometallurgical operation Please forward relevant CVs to us with the position in the subject line.
