C#.NET Developer C#.NET Developer (junior to intermediate) SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS ONLY Financial Services Provider (based Houghton) is recruiting a junior C#.NET Developer with 1.5 years to 2 years experience to join their dynamic team. The client offers exposure to an advanced technological and challenging environment which includes new and exciting development projects. Area: Houghton Type position: Permanent Remuneration: CTC neg. depending on candidates experience, qualifications and skills. Technical skills required: • Web Services • ASP.NET • C#.NET • Object-Relational Mapping using Linq-to-SQL • DevExpress Components • SSIS • SQL Reporting Services • Analysis Services (BI) (advantage) Skills and experience required: • Senior certificate. • University IT degree (B.Sc. / B.Com) Informatics/ Information Systems/Computer Science or 3 year National IT Diploma. Preference will be give to candidates with Honours degree. • Must have a minimum of 1.5 years development experience in commercial environment. • Must have good windows based application development experience (at least 1 years plus experience). • Web based application development experience an advantage. • Develop test cases for own code and test accordingly. • Must have good knowledge of enterprise computing (including database development) using Microsoft development products (C#.NET and ASP.NET). • Systems analysis and business analysis skills advantage. • Must have good understanding of OO analysis, design and development. • Must have good knowledge of SDLC life cycle. • Must be able to interpret detailed functional specifications and develop quality software that functions exactly as specified. • Documenting new features and functionality to specification. • Must have excellent communication skills, time-management skills and work methods. • Extended hours where necessary will be a requirement due to the critical nature of the position. • Ability to use initiative and be a self-starter, responsible, conscientious and diligent. • Must be well groomed, presentable and have good interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently under pressure without constant supervision. • Ability to deliver projects on time is a critical element of the position.
