| South African Ambulance Emergency Assistant Client: FrontierMEDEX FrontierMEDEX, based in the United Kingdom, is an international company providing medical support services to clients operating in remote or hazardous environments worldwide, both on and offshore. Contract: Ongoing Rotation: 5/5 weeks or 8/4 weeks Location: Iraq Job Role: ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced South African Ambulance Emergency Assistants to provide medical and welfare support to site personnel working in remote site oil and gas locations in the Iraqi oil fields. Opportunities are available on a long term back to back basis to provide primary and emergency healthcare to site personnel, often working in hazardous and austere environments. Duties may include First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. AEA’s will also be responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, in addition to general administration and computer based reporting. Experience / Qualifications required: Previous international remote site experience is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of three years' post medical qualification work experience Current professional registration High levels of health and fitness Computer literate Good English language skills. |
