| URGENT REQUIREMENT!! South African Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses CLIENT: FRONTIER MEDICAL Frontier Medical, based in the United Kingdom, is an international company providing medical support services to clients operating in remote or hazardous environments worldwide, both on and offshore. The company is a division of Exploration Logistics Group plc, which is involved in a variety of field logistics activities.” Job Role: ELG FZE on behalf of Frontier Medical are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to provide medical and welfare support to site personnel working in remote site locations including jungle, desert, Polar regions and offshore. Opportunities are available on a long term back to back basis or Seasonal placement to provide primary and emergency healthcare to site personnel, often working in hazardous and austere environments. Duties may include First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. HCPs will also be responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, in addition to general administration and computer based reporting. Experience and qualifications required: -Previous international remote site experience is preferred but not mandatory. -Minimum of three years' post medical qualification work experience, preferably in an emergency setting. -Current professional registration -Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) -Trauma Management certification, ATLS (Doctors only) or ITLS/PHTLS -Offshore Safety and Survival certificate, to include Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) – For Offshore opportunities only -High levels of health and fitness -Computer literate -Good English language skills. |
