Business Development Director Job Opportunity for a Business Development Director – MINING Our client, a global leader in Food and Facilities Management Services is looking for a Senior Business Development Director to develop their business within the Mining Industry in Africa. The permanent position is available immediately and will be based in Johannesburg North. Key Job responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible to develop new Business within the Mining Industry in the African continent for the provision of Catering, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Camp Construction and Integrated Facilities Management for the Mining Industry on their remote sites. • Improve Market Intelligence and build a solid data base • Promote on-going business relationship with our current clients • Prospect new clients in Mining Industry • Sell integrated Facilities Management Services to new clients Minimum Experience: • Must have lived and worked on the Mining sites either in the role of Commercial or Operations / Project Management • Solid Senior Sales experience, able to achieve the financial sales targets • Solid experience in putting Bids / Tenders together • Proven track record of selling Support Services to the Mining Industry • A University degree in Engineering or in Business Management • Fluent in English and good command of 1 additional European language (French/German/Dutch/ Portuguese) • Must have worked or lived in foreign countries Job skills and competencies needed: • Sales driven with good negotiation skills and able to close deals • Able to prospect new clients and develop business relations • Excellent networking skills and web of influence especially in Mining Industry • Excellent knowledge of major computer programs • Good interpersonal and leadership skills • Extrovert personality, able to blend easily with all cultures • Flexible attitude and able to travel Interesting remuneration package with bonus will be offered to the successful candidate. |
