Mechanical Engineer Requirements Excellent grasp of engineering concepts and principles Multi dimensional computer drawing Understanding of manufacturing processes methods Knowledge of FEA and computer simulations. BEng or BTech / Degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent. PR Eng ECSA Registration Would be advantageous but not essential Experience Minimum 5-8 years Design Experience. Must have experience on Pro Engineer, Inventor, Solid works bulk materials handling experience Experience with conveyors, crushers and screens. Experience to Materials Handling equipment. Job Description Responsible for ensuring the generation of detail and assembly drawings for the company’s existing products and new ones that may be conceptualized. Responsible for accurate written or electronic records of all communication between customers, suppliers and other personal regarding company matters. Responsible for submitting a weekly progress report to the Design Office Manager including any problems encountered and/or recommendations. This includes feasibility studies, required calculations, design verifications and other engineering analysis. Responsible for ensuring compliance with company Design Office procedures office standards Identification of new product / application opportunities |
