Planner My client, a national fashion giant, is seeking to employ a Junior Planner in the planning ladies/mens wear department. The successful candidate should meet the following criteria: Planner training (or courses were applicable) Energetic and should be able to fit into a majority female environment Preferable to have experience in the fashion environment, not replenishment Self starter, strategic thinker, ambitious, personable Strong problem solving and analytical skills Intermediate experience with MS Excel Planning and organisational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment and recognize and react appropriately to changing work demands Proven ability to manage projects independently and to work as part of a team Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, verbal and written and excellent time management / project skills. Comfortable and confident in making effective decisions in a timely manner. Goal orientated with strong ability to stay focused. A strong understanding of merchandising financials and the ability to manage profitability. Experience on a Merchandise Planning System is essential. Salary between R15 000 and R20 000 CTC.
