POST PRESS PLANNER Currently our Press department is critical to the quality and success of our organization and is seeking to recruit a sharp person who has high moral conduct with previous work experience as a Post Press Planner. This award winning organisation is known to follow & implement modern manufacturing techniques and disciplines. Key Duties & Responsibilities: As a Post Press Planner, your responsibility entails conceptualising productivity targets by streamlining dispatch and the production process by monitoring the flow of productivity from print to dispatch; to ensure timeous delivery to clients thereby achieving high performance output and maintaining strong relationships. You will work in a team environment and provide a service to the Press environment and other service departments to influence the flow of the production and dispatch process positively. Skills, Exp & Education: To become a Post Press Planner, you will need a: • Mechanized Book Binder Trade Certificate • Grade 12 Certificate • At least 5 years relevant experience in a Bindery environment of which 2-3 years was within a shift leader capacity • In depth knowledge of all disciplines within the bindery environment and complete print production environment • Knowledge of finishing and dispatch in a large production environment • Working knowledge of QTMS Applicants who apply must possess: • Skills: Planning &organising; attention to detail; decision-making; time manage; analysing; stress tolerance • Skills: Leadership;independent and team worker; communication and interpersonal skills. • Skills: Analyze and conceptualize information and present in a meaningful manner. • Qualities: Motivation, strong personal organizational skills, energetic and the ability to absorb and redirect workflow • Technical: Computer literate Above all we are looking for fresh minds and remember only shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged. 1.Do you have a Mechanized Bookbinder Trade certificate? 2.Do you have a grade 12 certificate? 3.Do you have at least 5 years relevant experience within a Bindery environment? 4.Do you have 2-3 years experience as a shift leader? 5.Are you computer literate? 6.Do you have in-depth knowledge of the bindery and print production environment? 7.Do you have working knowledge of QTMS? 8.Do you have working knowledge of finishing and dispatch in a large environment? |
