PHP Developer

Position: PHP Developer

Start date: ASAP

Responsibility The staff member will be responsible for the following areas

• Updates and new modules for the primary website (WordPress based) including CSS and HTML changes.
• Adding features to our console and dashboard pages
• Development of new PHP/MySQL based products
• Other general development tasks.


Required competencies

• PHP 5 (Junior/Intermediate)
• MySQL (Junior/Intermediate)
• HTML / XHTML (Intermediate / Expert)
• CSS (Intermediate / Expert)
• Linux/Unix operation (Junior/Intermediate)

Experience

• Minimum 6 months development experience. Source code and example work MUST be provided.
• Formal qualification is a plus

Personal characteristics

• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in the English language are a must.
• Independent and self motivated
• Willingness to learn
• Genuine interest in technology


Candidates with these additional competencies will be preferred

• CakePHP
• WordPress
• C/C++
• Design skill
• Kannel / SMS
• Java
• J2ME,RIM, iPhone development
