PHP Developer Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related field preferred) and a minimum of 2-3 years web development/programming experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work experience more valuable. Experience: Work requires 2-2 years of progressive programming, web or database administration experience to include PHP software development on a Linux platform with MySQL (current system developed on MSSQL on a windows platform), design, implementation, tuning, backup, recovery, modification and reorganization of relational databases for a complex computer network. • Experience with SQL (able to write queries, design and optimize) Independent, advanced programming experience in designing and developing web deployed applications with database backends in a CGI/php/mysql server environment on a UNIX or Windows platform * Knowledge of graphics processing tools including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop • Knowledge of basic design principles helpful • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills as interactions with faculty, staff and students are required. • Ability to perform as a Data Base Administrator for mysql databases (and MSSQL) • Minimum 2-3 years experience in web development and graphic design Skills: Excellent communication skills Solid PHP, Linux, MySQL, Web Developer, XHTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript, MySQL and MSSQL
