Offshore Vessel Based Rigger We currently seek experienced offshore riggers to work on board our vessels on a rotation plan working globally. • Understands company health, safety and environmental requirements as well as all relevant safety management systems, safety legislation including risk assessment, lifting operations legislation and provision and use of work equipment regulations. • Has an understanding of all vessel specific requirements relating to himself and other members of the rigger crew, including chains of command, communication channels and crane operational procedures. • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective safety equipment. • In accordance with operational and relevant legislative requirements, perform rigging, slinging and crane banking operations and inspections of all lifting equipment and accessories. • Identifies hazards and risks associated with a particular operation or condition, maintains safe systems of work and identifes all potentially unsafe working practices and reports to Rigging General Foreman. • Passes relevant information relating to construction operations to Rigging General Foreman or Dive Supervisor and Construction Offshore Manager as required. • Collects and passes all relevant information to immediate and ongoing operations in relation to construction deck and subsea activities to opposite shift. • Communicates with rigging crew, 3rd party contractors, Crane Operator and bridge crew Experience - • Minimum of 200 days working as an Associate Rigger • Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level Quals - • OPITO approved Offshore Slinging and Lifting certificate Other requirements - OPITO approved Offshore Survival and Medical |
