Used Cars Sales Manager An opportunity for a driven and experienced Used Cars Sales Manager has become available at our clients Cape Town Dealership. Your ability to drive and motivate our client’s Sales Team could be your key to financial independence and security. Our client believes in providing full dedication to customer satisfaction in all aspects of their business and we will therefore only consider individuals who meet with all the below minimum requirements of this position. Minimum Requirements: Matric or equivalent qualification A relevant tertiary qualification within sales/management would be advantageous Minimum of 5-8 years sales management experience Exposure to brands such as Mercedes Benz, Land Rover, Toyota or BMW would be highly advantageous Proven track record of achievements and previous accomplishments Staff management experience and knowledge of disciplinary procedures and industrial relations Fully computer literate Exceptional communications skills and have the confidence to liaise and present on all levels Leadership abilities, have a thirst for knowledge, assertive by nature and able to motivate and drive teams Ability to work independently and systematically Strong client orientation and relationship building skills essential Professional and ethical in overall approach Sense of urgency, thoroughness and completion in order to manage time effectively Valid driver’s licence Key Performance Areas: Manage, lead and develop the Used Cars Sales Team Ensure deadlines are met, and set monthly unit targets are achieved consistently Prospect and follow through on new business opportunities that will essentially result in sales Market exposure of products through implementation and drive of creative and innovative approach methods Facilitate regular team and one-on-one staff meetings to monitor progress and general feedback Develop plans and strategies to increase customer portfolio, while capturing and understanding the need of the client Utilise aggressive marketing techniques that produces constant walk in and telephonic enquiries Ensure full and accurate information is available to relevant managers, staff and clients when required Ensure the sales team keeps customer information systems in place and update details regularly (reports, opportunities, contracts, etc.) Manage own recruitment process and conduct regular staff performance assessments and training/development needs implementation In Return our Client Offers: Annual salary of R240 000 – R300 000 (negotiable depending relevant experience, skill and qualifications) Incentives based on targets achieved Contribution towards pension/provident fund Company vehicle and fuel Permanent employment |
