Communication Systems Engineer The Communication Systems Engineer’s position requires engineering and design experience as well as construction management experience in the implementation of Wide Area Network and Backhaul Communication Systems. Note: Local candidates only! Requirements: • Experience in Fiber Optic Transmission Systems • Experience in Fiber Optic Cabling installations • Experience in Microwave Transmission Systems Responsibilities: • Fiber Optic Transmission Systems: - Cisco ONS DWDM • Fiber Optic Cabling installations: - Underground– along new and existing pipeline routes - Underground– using existing pipe & chamber systems - Overhead – along railway traction masts • Microwave Transmission Systems: - Upgrade existing systems to STM-1 - Integration of new and existing FOTS and MW systems
