Technical Support Representative A Technical Support Representative is required to support our client’s sales team and general operational requirements within the Gauteng Region. The suitable candidate will be required to manage the complete function of this position from home and therefore needs to be self disciplined and have a strong work ethic. Our client specialises in a wide range of top quality imported products and their ideal market is within the Hospitality, Food Processing, Fishing and Automotive Industries. We will only consider candidates with a proven technical support track record and meet with all the below minimum requirements of pre-interviews. Minimum Requirements: Matric or equivalent qualification Minimum of 5 years working experience within a technical industry (construction, maintenance, etc.) Warehousing or logistics experience would be advantageous as would a background in food processing or factories Fully computer literate (MS Office) Strong time management and organisational skills Well spoken and able to liaise on all levels in a professional manner Strong work ethic Self starter and self disciplined Able to work independently whilst working under pressure towards tight deadlines Willingness to travel extensively within the Gauteng Region (Johannesburg, Pretoria, North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga) Have own reliable transport and valid code 08 driver’s licence Key Performance Areas: Liaise directly with Sales Representatives with regards to technical support Support Sales Representatives with technical demonstrations of product Manage installation of products at client premises Complete management of stock products and installations Provide maintenance on products when required by clients Full accountability for stock received and delivered General support to clients with regards to technical queries and solutions Ensure all installations and technical support is done timeously Always ensure that the client is updated and kept informed of any time delays, etc. Manage own time effectively and ensure all deadlines are met Report directly to the Region Senior Sales Representative In Return our Client Offers: Monthly CTC Salary of R12 000 Company Vehicle Opportunity to form part of a dynamic and exciting industry Permanent long term employment prospects
