Remuneration: Based on current earnings plus significant adjustment and company benefits. Qualifications & Experience: • An absolute minimum of a BSc/BIT Computer Science or BSc in engineering software. • 2 Years solid experience in Java coding is an absolute must. • Knowledge of Oracle database access using JDBC. • Knowledge of open GL coding is an advantage. • Candidates will be tested (technical JAVA coding and psychological). • South African Citizenship is a key requirement for this position. • Currently residing in the Pta area. Personal attributes and skills required: • Top qualified degreed individuals in computer science and enjoy R&D. • Be a team player and fit into current committed and experienced team of developers. • Be self starter and take initiative on development work. • Provide and commit time estimates on intended scope of work, and willing to work long hours to reach delivery milestones. • International Exposure foreseen. Responsibilities: • Develop JAVA (J2SE) in Technical programming environment located in Pretoria. • Assist in systems engineering function where product software can be combined for user required functions. • Develop, test and document programs and modules according to engineering detail designs and or high level specifications. • Develop modular reusable product code in line with existing design practices. • Optimize code to ensure it meets product expectations and user specifications. • Develop test code to assist in testing of modular and system level testing. • Produce high quality software according to defined time scales.
