Located in the departures and arrivals area at Doha International Airport, QDC sells a huge range of items, more than 22,000 product lines. This ranges from perfumes, cosmetics, beverages and food to clothing, toys, jewelery and watches featuring leading international brand names such as Bulgari, Rolex and Chopard. Individuals experienced in working in a Retail Sales environment may wish to consider careers in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing and Customer Service. JOB PURPOSE To maximize sales at every available opportunity while ensuring that customers receive the highest levels of customer service. Also ensure that the shop is fully merchandised according to the departmental layout and that shelves are kept fully stocked at all times or displayed in a manner that maximizes the selling opportunity JOB LOCATION: DOHA, Qatar ELIGIBILITY: Only candidates living in South Africa and who can attend an interview in Durban need to apply, all others will not be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES: •The position will be responsible for delivering the Sales Budget, which is one of the key financial aspects driving the business. •Cash handling is a critical function, as cash is company asset and the Sales Assistant is responsible for the security of the money in their shift •Will be required to interact with paying customers and in general the travelling public. •Effectively communicate with colleagues & other staff. •Ensure merchandise is displayed to the highest international standards that is attractive and pleasing to customers and aids in the selling process •Cleaning of stock and shelves /display points ensuring the shop is presented to the customer in the best possible light REQUIREMENTS: •Diploma / High School or equivalent •Degree holder desirable •Preferable for the individual to have previous Retail and or Customer Service experience. •Individual needs to be Customer Service oriented and a Proactive seller, with strong Inter-personal skills •Able to speak and write in English language is very essential
