Oyster King Manager ABOUT THE OYSTER KING CONCEPT: The Oyster King’s innovative, entertaining concept is anchored on serving delectable, professionally shucked oysters with savoir-faire at functions and events. The position of Oyster King Manager involves all aspect of the planning and execution of events for clients, in accordance with the Company vision and values of Oyster King. A hands on approach is required, communication and accurate administration essential and exceeding Client expectations. Main focus will be to successfully develop and grow the Oyster King brand/concept and increase annual turnover. Oversee and manage the division of Macaron and Bubbly Queen and successfully develop and grow this concept in conjunction with that of the Oyster King. JOB DESCRIPTION: Identifying new potential clients Securing and building new relationships with clients, as well as maintaining existing relationships with key clients Marketing Oyster King brand/concept by doing at least 25 telesales calls per week and at least 5 personal sales calls per week Accurately record sales calls for weekly reporting to the Director Compile and maintain client database Take bookings, accurately formulate quotations and invoice requests Financial reporting on a monthly basis to the Director, or as when requested Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements and communicating these requirements to the Oyster King team and suppliers Plan and execute impressive and impactful experiences stimulating all senses to facilitate memorable Oyster King events Actively perform the duties of the Oyster King at the events Strategically negotiate agreements with suppliers/partners to ensure the best cost and the highest quality of service for the client. Complete detailed, concise and accurate accounts without any omissions and/or errors, ensuring all formulas calculate correctly and correct Oyster King fee or mark up is applied according to instruction Securing and booking Oyster Kings for events. Co coordinating logistics and operations around every event. Ensure health and safety obligations are adhered to Post event evaluation of events to continuously improve and enhance brand concept and service delivery Training, development and mentorship of Oyster Kings, junior employees and internship students to increase productivity and enhanced service delivery within the Company Assist all fellow team members within the scope of their positions within Oyster King to continue to grow and excel within the Company values Be available to assist Hospitality Affairs when required |
