PICK Developer Job Purpose: To form part of the organisations’ Strategic Business Enablement (SBE) development team, efficiently supporting the organisations’ financial information delivery requirements. This particular individual will focus mainly on maintaining and enhancing the current reporting and financial systems using Pick D3 programming language and System Builder. We have quality Business and Systems Analysts as well as Project managers working closely with developers, architects and data analysts on our new projects. You must be able to work with all role players within the development lifecycle, have an excellent attitude and good communication skills. This is a fast maturing environment and will suit someone who relishes a challenge and seeks opportunities to grow. Job Outline: • Provide end user support • Develop and maintain financial systems & reports using Pick D3 and System Builder • Analyse and write technical specifications for selected new developments and enhancements • Test and quality assure new developments and enhancements • Document work progress and systems enhancements Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role • Must have either PICK D3 or IBM UniVerse (PICK) or COBOL experience.
