Materials Requirement Planning Manager (mining) • Contract residential position in the mining sector in Zambia. • Salary US$140K per annum (taxable) plus 4-year bonus scheme plus annual tax free travel allowance of USD15000. • Purpose: Looks after stores warehousing and inventory control. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution. • Not less than ten (10) years post graduate experience, of which five (05) years should have been in a senior position in a Mining organisation. • High level of proficiency in Microsoft office applications and experience in SAGE, SAP or similar MRP system are essential. SKILLS REQUIRED • Controlling the inventory budget, stock levels and stock rationalization • Ensuring that warehousing facilities are used to optimum potential • Cataloguing to international standards such as NATO, transfers between stores, storing and binning • Disposals management, stock reconciliation, inventory reviews and analyses, and reporting. • The job holder must be a change facilitator and strategic team leader. He/ She must have strong analytical skills, able to interpret operational changes and flex inventory requirements accordingly. • In addition the job holder must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives. |
