German Speaking Project Leader for exclusive Tour Operator One of our clients, a leading Destination Management Company in Southern Africa is looking for a German speaking Sales/Project Leader for their small but exclusive office in Cape Town. The ideal candidate MUST have minimum 3-4 years experience at an incoming tour operator. You must be articulate, have excellent interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills. You should have a winning attitude and very strong selling skills. You should be extremely focused and well organized with excellent administration skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work additional hours as this role demands. Required Skills/Experience: • 3-4 years+ experience in a similar position and environment and product knowledge of southern Africa • Knowledge of quoting & handling Groups and FIT from initial enquire through confirmed booking and operation. • Ability to access venue suitability • Experience of marketing • Preparation of tour itineraries • Costings • Negotiations and reservations of tourism services e.g. accommodation, transport etc • Ensuring smooth operation of the groups and FIT's prior to and during their stay in South Africa • General office duties and administration of the tours etc. Position is located in Cape Town. Soonest Starting Date: January 2010 Candidate must be available for an interview in Cape Town.
