Commercial Business Development Rep

• Brand sales activation in on-consumption outlets
• Achieve Volume & availability targets
• Achieve merchandising and brand visibility targets as per In trade execution plans
• Negotiate Wine listings in targeted outlets within investment guidelines
• Activate wine & brandy listings in outlets
• Facilitate regular wine & brandy tastings
• Negotiate pouring status for brandy in outlets, in line with brand strategy & consumer demographics
• Identify, co-ordinate and implement promotions on a regional and ad hoc basis
• Achieve promotional targets
• Identify events and activating brands at these events to ensure additional sales
• Identify additional selling opportunities
• Working closely with distributors and providing strong sales & marketing support
• Writing weekly / monthly reports
• On-consumption budget management

Requirements:
• Minimum qualification – Grade 12 ( a relevant tertiary qualification will be to your advantage)
• Willingness & ability to work evenings and weekends
• At least 2 years relevant experience
• F & B Experience will also be an advantage
• Ability to plan, initiate and run promotions
• Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
• Ability to operate independently
• Must be self-motivated and innovative
• Wine knowledge will be an advantage
