SQA/SDE Engineer

Organise and participate in quality system and process audits
formulate the supplier audit reports
maintain and report on internal corrective procedure and actions related to suppliers
managing receiving inspection with all duties and quality planning
supplier - manage all supplier DLN's and internal non conformities, using the VIN system
report on supplier performance
report on supplier chargeback and control chargeback process(cost recovery)
ensure supplier feedback and communication on VIN concerns
setup and support safe launch plan with suppliers
manage the process of handling non conforming product from the supplier
manage day to day supplier issues
evaluate supplier component quality systems in linw with ISO9001/VDA6/ISO TS 16949
execute product qualification procedures - APQP
perform tool concept reviews/supplier design reviews
ensure components are release on time, including componenet re qualification -PPAP
support purchasing activities in evaluation of suppliers
ensure new/required technology is available at supplier base
ensure costs are minimized on projects at supplier socuring
plan, action and follow through of supplier audits
support purchasing in the supplier section procedure and supplier performance management including engineering, production, quality and logistics
problem solving and analytical skills
grade 12 or equivalent
formal technical qualification to B Tech or equivalent
quality assurance auditing to ISO/VDA 6.3, TS 16949, ISO 14001
Minimum of 3-5 years expereince in the quality assurance function
computer literate, MS office, SAP knowledge will be beneficial
knowledge of process analysis, auditing, quality statistics and technical drawings
