Snr Business Analyst, UK, GBP40K-60Kpa (neg.) Snr Business Analyst, UK, GBP40K-60Kpa (neg.) A leading Software Solutions company for the Wholesale Insurance and Reinsurance Sector is looking to employ a young Snr (Lead) BA to manage several streams of complex software implementations at their UK offices. The company is a software and services supplier to the insurance industry with a number of new engagements with global carriers and intermediaries. An opportunity has arisen for a young and highly skilled, business and delivery focused senior business analyst/function leader to join this entrepreneurial team. The company’s reputation and brand is built upon delivery and service excellence, prospective candidates will therefore be evaluated on criteria that include; professionalism, drive, business / industry acumen and problem-solving capabilities. BA is the foundation and core service within their overall proposition and a key competitive differentiator. Requirements: • A minimum of a Bachelors degree (B.Eng, BSc, B.Bus Sci, BCom Info Systems, Comp Sci, Hons) preferably a M/MBA. • A minimum of 4 > 5 years experience in a similar role. • If you have experience / background in a Software Development role before having moved on to BA it would be an advantage. • Excellent communication skills. • Experience in managing teams. • Good track record with clients. • Excellent (proven) report writing skills. • Hands on BA capabilities on complex Software implementations. • A British passport or dual citizenship would be ideal. Effectively manage and lead the business analysis function: • Lead a growing team of talented business analysts and owning the overall analysis deliverables on all projects. • Resource planning across analysis streams. • Improve the quality of the analysis function through; process improvement, the development of people and the recruitment of new staff. Deliver specific analysis projects as the lead analyst responsible: • Lead the interaction with customers to ensure the accuracy of their business and project requirements. • Ensure timeliness and quality of analysis deliverables. • Cross-functional management to ensure timeliness and quality of all project deliverables. • Be an effective ambassador for the Company’s brand. You will be measured against: • Evidence of ability to delivery software projects as a consultant or 3rd party supplier. • Established experience / skills as Lead / Senior BA or Consultant, where the focus has been on delivery of IT-driven business solutions. • Evidence of managing complexity both from a requirements and project perspective. • Evidence of progression from operational / technical roles to business-focused and delivery-oriented responsibilities. • People management and people-influencing skills. • Affinity for or experience in the financial services / insurance sector • Strong academic profile.
