Programme Manager Programme Manager Introduction: My client based in the East of Pretoria has a vacancy for a Program Manager who is able to contribute to the Company’s success in their Integrated Systems Group through its people and process excellence. They focus on the systems of systems level understanding of problems and finding solutions to hard problems. You will be responsible for the management of medium to high risk, large, multidisciplinary research & development projects across various areas and operational units within the Company in order to meet stakeholder needs and requirements on budget and on time. Requirements: • B Engineering, preferably M Eng qualification. • Certified Project Management Professional. • Ten years project management experience in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment. • Knowledge and experience of Research and Development approaches such as incremental, spiral, or evolutionary development. • Knowledge of System Engineering processes as applicable to the R&D environment. • Stakeholder Management. • Financial Management of Programs (projects). • SA Citizenship is a pre-requisite as a Security Clearance is required for this position. Responsibilities: • Program Management: Managing a set of programs typical size of large projects where each program may be further managed by a team of project managers each representing different competence areas or external teams. • Stakeholder Management: Leveraging the multidisciplinary strength of the company and its partners for increased stakeholders/ user impact and benefit. • Securing Financial Sustainability through operational excellence: Program budgets, schedule, and performance and to support the funding streams for programs that may be too large for the budgets of a single customer/stakeholder.
