Workshop Foreman - European Brands The position for a Workshop Foreman has become available at our client that supports two well known European Brands within the foreshore district of Cape Town. Our client strives to provide total commitment to customer satisfaction in all aspects of their business undertakings. Their main objective is to provide a stable and challenging working environment for their employees, promoting open lines of communication and encouragement. Minimum requirements will include - Matric Qualified Technician Strong proven Management experience Strong consideration will be given to previously held positions within General Workshop Assistant, Technician and Service Advisor roles Strong communication & time management skills Be organisational & optimistic in overall management approach Client Centric/focussed and Service Delivery driven Fully computer literate (Excel, Ms Word) Experienced in In-house systems of Automate & BSI (advantageous) Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans/English) Written & Verbal Valid Drivers Licence Code 08 Own vehicle? Key Performance areas will entail but not be limited to the following duties – Allocate all jobs to staff and ensure consistent and qualitative productivity Ensure strong communication channels between Workshop & Service Department for effective customer feedback Manage all relevant departmental administrative procedures Ensure effective capturing and updates of all jobs and status on in-house systems Manage all job costing and ensure smooth handover to costing department for Invoicing Keep all after service sales consultants and service advisors informed with workshop progress and further new business development opportunities Report directly to the Workshop Manager Remuneration Offered Up to R14 000 Salary pm (negotiable depending experience, skills and qualifications) Contribution to Medical Aid Contribution to Retirement/Provident fund Secure and Stable Company Environment Long term career prospects Ongoing training & strong management support |
