FrontierMEDEX delivers: •a world class, worldwide assistance infrastructure •first-world standards of primary and emergency medical care in remote and hazardous locations •a strengthened global network of practising medical specialists and resources •robust medical, safety and security protocols •emergency medical and security evacuation and crisis response capabilities •extensive travel intelligence, insurance and protection services •specialist technical and operational health and safety expertise Position: Offshore Safety Medic Sector: Various Contract: Ongoing Rotation: Various, ad hoc cover trips/regular back to back rotations Location: Worldwide Job Role: ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to provide medical and welfare support to site personnel working in the North Sea. Duties include primary healthcare, emergency medical response, First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating. The successful candidate will also be responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, in addition to general administration and computer based reporting. HSE experience, preferably with NEBOSH or IOSH would be useful. Experience/Qualifications: •Previous remote site or pre-hospital experience is preferred •Experience of working in the military or on expeditions may be beneficial •Minimum of three years' post qualification experience •Current Medical Registration •Advanced cardiac certification •Trauma management certification •Offshore survival and safety training with HUET (BOSIET/FOET) •NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent preferred but not mandatory •Good levels of health and fitness •Computer literate |
