| Data Manager Data Manager : Polokwane Objective of the Job: To provide effective data management of work done by the project and to collate relevant facility/district PMTCT ad ARV statistics to facilitate the planning and monitoring of the Limpopo project. To collate relevant national statistics to evaluate the Limpopo Project. Qualifications and experience: Basic degree in Data Management (statistics would be an advantage). Experience in Data Management. Proficiency and experience in working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Access. SPSS, SAS, Strata advantageous. Advanced report writing and presentation skills. Ability to build capacity and train at all levels. Good communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English as working language. (Strategic) Objective of Department: The Specific Objective of the Limpopo Clinic is to support comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment for mothers and children in Limpopo in order to enhance children's HIV outcomes. The responsibility of the Data Manager contributes to the following Expected Results of the project: 3) Strengthened capacity of health professionals in relation to comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment for mothers and children, 4) Improved paediatric HIV/AIDS health management systems 6) Enhanced support for paediatric HIV/AIDS from management structures and policies. Liaison with information officers and PMTCT and CCMT co-ordinators at provincial, district and site level and other stakeholders." High level of analytical and innovative problem solving skills. Monthly statistics reports, quarterly provincial statistics reports, Annual reports. Minutes of Data management meetings. |
