| TRANSFORMATION MANAGER Outline of job descriptions Transformational Manager Job purpose To ensure the development and implementation of the GFO’s Transformation Plan to support the vision and overall strategic imperatives of the GFO. Key performances areas • To cultivate diverse and distinctive local work • To actively assist Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDIs) to participate in the film, television and interactive media production industry • Improved viability and diversification of emergent enterprises • Provide production opportunities for emergent PDI content creators and their work Ensure that the • Identify and proactively seek to be involved in projects that display originality, diversity and creative ambition • Contribute to the professional development of emergent PDI writers, directors and producers • Promote the recognition of emergent and established PDI work in local and international festivals • Lead the development and advocacy of policy relating to emergent PDI screen content creators in particular the monitoring of relevant BEE Charters • Development and promotion of a Database of film industry role players and support networking initiatives • Initiate and direct the establishment and management of a Film Fund • Assist content creators and interactive media producers to work with more experienced professionals by means of a mentoring programme. Reports to Senior manager Investment Promotion Number of staff reporting to position (current organogram) N/A Salary band R 350 – R 400 k per annum, total cost to company |
