Finance Officer
Job purpose To ensure the provision and implementation of effective Information Communications Technology, telecommunications, audio-visual and electronic office equipment services to the GFO.
Key performance areas • Ensure the effective development, implementation and review of Information Communications Technology, Electronic Office Equipment and Telecommunications Strategy, Policy and Procedures
• Ensure the effective maintenance and safeguarding of office equipment
• Ensure the effective development and/or procurement of ICT hardware and software
• Ensure the effective provision and management of ICT support – LAN, WAN, software and hardware
• Ensure the effective management of security and usage of all ICT resources
• Ensure the effective management of all servers
• Ensure effective management of any outsourced ICT functions
• Ensure programme and project management
• Ensure monitoring and evaluation
• Ensure effective performance management
• Effectively manage the budget

Reports to Chief Financial Officer
Number of staff reporting to position (current organogram) N/A
Salary band R 180k – R 220 k per annum, total cost to company.
