German Speaking Travel Consultant An exciting opportunity has opened for a fluent German speaking Groups and Incentives Travel Consultant for a top tourism agency in Cape Town. If you’re a well organized, hard working with some Southern / South African travel experience and a can do attitude then this role is for you. Our client’s Incentive Travel Consultants create and project manage Incentive Travel Programs for corporate clients in Europe in the following destinations: South Africa; Namibia; Botswana; Zimbabwe; Zambia and Mozambique. Incentive consultants represent their clients when negotiating with local suppliers and are expected to have strong communication and relationship building skills. They are furthermore expected to demonstrate flexibility and resilience at all times as they are constantly working in a pressurized and fast paced environment. Requirements: Fluency in German is a must. Very good communication skills both written and verbal Excellent Project Management Skills Relevant travel qualification or equivalent in experience Work experience in the travel industry a must Good geographical knowledge of Southern Africa with proven experience in a similar position Great negotiation skills with local suppliers Great relationship building skills with clients and suppliers Remuneration: Our client is willing to offer above average generous basic salary which is negotiable on experience.
