JUNIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER Vacancy: Junior Business Intelligence Developer (5 month contract) The role will involve: • Running daily, weekly and monthly reports for Business • Producing charts and reports in Microsoft Excel for report packs • Manage distribution of regular reports • Designing and developing adhoc and standard reports using SQL and/or SAS • Implementing according to standards and specifications • Documentation of reporting processes including technical documentation • Providing support to other members of the team and business users Requirements: The successful incumbent will need the following: • Matric plus relevant diploma, degree in the field of Computer Science e.g. BSc degree • Knowledge of SQL and or SAS • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Other competencies: • Problem solving and analytical thinking • Ability to work independently/unsupervised and to function effectively within a team • Ability to perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment • Attention to detail The successful candidate should ideally be able to start at the beginning of January ‘11 to receive the necessary handover and training.
