The main emphasis of this position will be to lead the Human Resources Team and its Activities for the South African Operations of our client at their offices based in Johannesburg. Due to the high expectations within the Head of HR role, we will only consider those candidates that can at a minimum meet with all of the below requirements - Senior certificate and HR Sciences/Business masters degree - Honours will be seen as a major advantage Have a minimum of 5-8 years experience on Directorate level in all areas of Pillars of the Human Resources Profile; Recruitment, IR, C&B, OD and Business partner roles Have previously recruited, managed and developed an executive an experienced National HR Team (Team of 7 includes HR Business Partners, Recruitment Specialists/Generalists and Administrators) Able to present proven detail on career successes in cascading regional and national processes according to the South African Market Able to present evidence of previous accomplishments in developing relationships within a cross cultural, cross border matrix environment International experience within a similar position will be advantageous Experience at directorate or executive management level within the FMCG/Cosmetics Industries Able to operate, manage and deliver within a fast paced, deadline driven and transformational environment International Travelling The Key Accountabilities within this role will be - Management of National HR Team in all areas of operational management and deliver the HR Portfolio through the HR Team Actively develop team dynamics and relationships and leverage global regional and global resource locally Through Strategic Planning define local HR processes to support overall business growth Ensure development of HR Team through consistent review of performance management in all areas Manage HR Budget and review HR activities to ensure cost effective delivery Review and implement HR Policies, ensuring the appropriate level of involvement and communication Align HR Capability and contribution with the strategic direction of the business Develop HR vision and strategy in support of business visions and goals Drive HR initiatives to increase quality of clear communication in all areas of support roles Directly report into Regional UK Director and on dotted line to GM of South Africa Remuneration offered 800k Per Annum (Highly negotiable depending proven experience and qualifications) Executive Permanent Employment opportunity with international growth prospects Over and above Large Corporation benefits Form part of a dynamic and driven company |
