Data Analyst What we are looking for: We are looking for an individual who has exceptional analytical, problem solving and data interpretation skills, who has a passion for data and how it contributes to the business. The candidate is to have advance excel skills and a mathematical/ statistical mindset. With past experience in data analysis, the candidate is to produce monthly, weekly and ad hoc reports from the Enterprise Data Warehouse/ Cubes for the Group. In addition the successful candidate will be required to run and automate regular reporting, including executive and management summaries. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION: Advanced Excel 2007 Skills- MUST be very comfortable with creating and using pivot tables and macros A completed National Diploma/Degree level qualification in systems analysis, informatics, finance or equivalent Minimum two years solid Data Analyst experience Exposure to Power Pivot, Excel 2010, DAX, MDX or T-SQL would be advantageous (If you do not have advance Excel skills you will not be suitable for this position) DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS: Customer service orientation Ability to reason and package ideas and results in a logically ordered, understandable and practical way Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving ability Numerical accuracy Excellent data interpretation skills Creative skills in the presentation of information in an easily assimilated form Exceptional time management skills to be able to complete tasks effectively to deadlines and manage multiple tasks Organised and systematic with good strategic and conceptual abilities The candidate will have to complete a data analysis assessment on Excel. Employment will be subject to good employment reference checks and a clear ITC.
