SQL Developer SQL development & maintenance based on SQL Server 2005/2008 that includes: - Views - Functions - Stored procedures - SSRS Reporting models - Complex reporting and data extract requirements - Data driven scheduling - Integration services (dtsx) - Data consolidation, integrity, integration & controls - Database design to 3NF and database optimization - Analytic cubes - Documentation as per development standards - Standby Personal skills and profile: A definite self-starter that can work with a minimum amount of supervision and that can perform under pressure. A hands-on personality that flourish by being involved and taking ownership in understanding the business environment. A team player that realize that the focus is on team achievement instead of individual performance. Passionate about Information Technology and a hunger to constantly learn and explore. Absolutely honest and ethical. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Technical skills: - SQL Server 2005/2008 SSRS / SSIS / SSAS - Database design & optimization – Critical - Strong data mining skills - A strong financial background in debtors (preferred) Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of SQL development exposure. A very good knowledge of complex stored procedures, integration from external data sources and the full SSRS reporting services basket is critical. A strong background in data mining and data analysis. Education: Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification – preferably a national diploma in Information Technology or a B Degree. Alternatively a proven track record with the associated Microsoft Certification. A more formal offering in database design will be preferred.
