Corporate Finance Manager Key roles and responsibilities Responsibilities vary but will include the following: • Valuations for transactions involving the sale or purchase of companies, mergers, joint ventures, distributions, privatisations, reorganisations for financial statement purposes. • Mergers and acquisitions including but not limited to disposals, negotiation and acquisition support and bid defence. • JSE listings • Financing including financing modelling, preparing and evaluating feasibility studies and business plans. Restructuring of existing capital or debt structures • Taking a leading role in growing a market presence. Qualification and Experience CA(SA) or equivalent; 2-3 years working experience in a related Corporate Finance role; Experience in investment banking, corporate finance advisory or professional services as well as own network in KZN an advantage; Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Skills and Attributes Strong client focus; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels; Ability to build and sustain relationships with people at all levels Self motivated; Proactive; Ability to work independently whilst producing and delivering results; Team player; Ability to prioritise effectively and accept responsibility; Professional work ethics and integrity; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Attention to detail.
