ETL Lead ETL Lead specialises in the design & development of the ETL environment, processes, programs, & scripts to acquire data from source systems & apply the data to the tables in the database. The ETL Lead designs & builds the ETL environment with the specific toolset required by the client & provides input to the database designer to optimise the data loading of the physical database. Work within sales team to generate new profitable business: articulate, demonstrate, scope Teradata solution offers & services Provide thought leadership on ETL best practices & design concepts Gather & document client requirements & translate these into process, system architecture & detailed ETL design Work with project managers Provide team leadership & mentoring to an ETL Development team In depth knowledge of Teradata Database or ETL tools Data warehousing knowledge Modeling & Security knowledge Operating systems/Networking knowledge Abtinitio knowledge preferred Knowledge of at least 1 ETL tool Relevant degree/qualification 5-10 yrs experience in data warehousing Broad technical expertise combined with business acumen Ability to understand the overall data warehouse architecture 3-4yrs testing experience Experience in design & development of ETL for at least 1 major warehouse implementation Database & Development Enterprise application integration ERP Software ETL & SQL skills Strong communication skills Strong leadership skills
